We were there two times for breakfast. Great service, Fab food, low prices...can't ask for more!

It's Actually The Best Western In Custer. And It's A Majestic Beauty Like No Other.

Service a bit slow to start but once we got waited on it flowed very smoothly, food was delivered fast and the food was excellent. Would definitely go back as what we had was worth the very small wait. Very friendly people as well.

Restaurant was interesting to look at, while waiting for food. Help was friendly. Food was good.price was right too.

Amazing place, amazing food!!This place should be named Stanley's because Stanley is top of the staff and made our night unforgettable!He's the main reason I would go back to Cowboy Café Stanley's!

Nice People, Good Food

We caught this place Just before they closed for the season. I had the Ribeye and was cooked right, and seasoned well. My man had the short ribs and were tasty. We also enjoyed Apple pie with cinnamon ice cream for dessert. Because they are closing up for the season they were low or out of alot of items. The gift shop was sparce as well. Over all we enjoyed this hometown, rustic family style place.

It was perfect! I would like to give Stanley all the credits for this! His service was A+

Service was horrible!! We got seated rudely then sat and waited for almost a half hour and still no one even asked us about drinks. It was like we weren't even there and it wasn't because they were busy!! A guy was clearing a table right by us and had to know we were annoyed but didn't get a server for us, we ended up getting up and walking out!! So terrible!!!

The food was delicious!!! Prime rib sandwich special - meat was tender and flavorful. Grilled veggies - awesome! Homemade soup - ham and bean - outstanding!!!

Food was a disappointment. Meats below average, veggies were clearly microwaved from previously frozen. Staff friendly but unmotivated.

Contrary to previous reviews, this is not the restaurant for the Best Western motel nearby. It is associated with the Dakota Cowboy Inn which shares the same parking lot. The restaurant has a cowboy themed store inside to the left and the restaurant is to the right. The decor is old with cowboy paraphernalia everywhere. I felt like I was on an old cowboy movie set. The food is simple, almost no seasoning and the kids we were with loved every bite. The prime rib was sublime, the potato skins with dill sauce were inhaled. The burgers are cooked to perfection but no seasoning whatsoever. I have never had to add S&P to a burger before. What is funny is that the restaurant is run and served by an all Jamaican staff who are super friendly, and I would bet they think they are making their food to suit their bland food loving patrons. Feel free to spice it up man! This cowboy joint could use a jerk chicken to liven things up.

We love to eat at the Dakota Cowboy when we stay in Custer every Labor Day weekend. Good food at reasonable prices.

Great service from Oshane from Jamaica, best bacon ever. Pancakes out of this world. Definitely a place to stop.

Good food, reasonable prices. Loved the senior menu choices. I am so tired of getting a plate with enough food for three people. It is so wasteful, and as a traveler, I have no way to save left-overs. The senior portions were just right, and cost a few dollars less. Very tasty!

Very tasty food. We ordered the salads. I liked that they had so much variety and also gave my inner carnivore a meat option.

We had the cheese crispy appetizer and I had Maverick Burger and everything was quite tasty and the atmosphere was rustic and quaint.
